Starlink’s coverage area varies depending on the location of the ground stations and the density of the satellite constellation. 



Currently, Starlink is available in:
United States – Limited trials began in August 2020, with public starting in November 2020.
Canada – January 2021.
United Kingdom – January 2021.
Germany – March 2021.
Australia – April 2021.
New Zealand – April 2021.
France – Original debut was in May 2021, but the approval was revoked in April 2022. Re-approval was granted in June 2022, with service expanded to Saint Martin and Saint Barthélemy in July 2022, and to Martinique and Guadeloupe in September 2022.
Austria – May 2021.
Netherlands – May 2021.
Belgium – May 2021.
Ireland – Limited trials began in April 2021, with public starting in July 2021.
Denmark – July 2021.
Portugal – August 2021.
Switzerland – August 2021.
Chile – Limited trials began in July 2021, with public starting in September 2021. Service expanded to Easter Island in November 2022.
Poland – September 2021.
Italy – September 2021.
Czech Republic – September 2021.
Sweden – October 2021.
Mexico – November 2021.
Croatia – November 2021.
Lithuania – December 2021.
Spain – January 2022.
Slovakia – January 2022.
Slovenia – January 2022.
Tonga – Emergency relief provided one month after the 2022 Hunga Tonga–Hunga Ha’apai eruption and tsunami, ground station established in neighboring Fiji for six months.

Bulgaria – February 2022.
Ukraine – Initially supplied as emergency relief in response to the 2022 Russian invasion of Ukraine, with public starting in February 2022.
Romania – April 2022.
Greece – April 2022.
Latvia – April 2022.
Hungary – May 2022.
North Macedonia – June 2022.
Luxembourg – July 2022.
Dominican Republic – July 2022.
Moldova – August 2022.
Estonia – August 2022.
Norway – August 2022.
Malta – September 2022.
Iran – Activated in response to Iranian censorship as a result of Iranian protests against compulsory hijab in September 2022.

Finland – November 2022.
Peru – January 2023.
Nigeria – January 2023, making it the first African country to receive Starlink service.
