Virgin Galactic Announces Date for Galactic 04 Spaceflight
Virgin Galactic Holdings Inc, the space travel company founded by British billionaire Richard Branson, has announced that its Galactic 04 spaceflight will take place on October 6. The flight window for Galactic 04 opens on October 5, but the company decided to launch on Friday to allow its team an additional day for preparations and checks.
This upcoming mission will carry three private astronauts from the United States, the United Kingdom, and Pakistan. Notably, the individual from Pakistan will be the first from his country to travel to space. This demonstrates the growing accessibility and diversity of space travel.
Virgin Galactic started its commercial spaceline operations in June of this year after temporarily suspending flights to make enhancements.
