Tactical Connectivity & Deployable Networks

Field engineer deploying a portable satellite and network kit

TACTICAL CONNECTIVITY & DEPLOYABLE NETWORKS

Connectivity prepared for movement and disruption

TS2 Space designs rapidly deployable communications around the people, applications and consequences of losing contact—not around a single terminal or network.

Build a resilient architecture

MULTI-PATH CONNECTIVITY

The best available link, managed as one field network

LEO broadband, GEO VSAT, L-band, LTE/5G, point-to-point radio and local Wi-Fi serve different coverage, capacity, latency, power and mobility needs. A practical solution combines only the paths the operation can support.

Rapid-deployment kits

Portable terminals, routers, Wi-Fi, protected cabling, power distribution and transport cases prepared as a tested kit with a clear startup procedure.

Mobile site networks

Connectivity for temporary facilities, vehicles, response teams and distributed project sites, with coverage and mounting matched to the operating mode.

Hybrid WAN

Traffic policy, failover and path selection across satellite and terrestrial networks, designed around the priority of voice, messaging, video and operational data.

Remote visibility

Asset records, link status, usage, alarms and controlled remote support for fleets where equipment condition matters as much as airtime.

FROM LINK TO SERVICE

A deployable network must work as a complete kit

Activation, line of sight, batteries, cable routing, local coverage, user access and recovery procedures determine whether a link is useful in the field. We define these elements before equipment is packed and dispatched.

  • Primary and fallback path selection
  • Rugged router, switching and local wireless coverage
  • Power budget, charging and battery autonomy
  • Environmental protection, mounting and transport
  • Configuration baseline, spares and field documentation
  • Network security and encryption reviewed for export classification

DELIVERY MODEL

Prepared before the team reaches the field

Define

Users, locations, movement, applications, data demand, autonomy and failure consequences.

Design

Network paths, terminal classes, local distribution, power, packaging and fallback behaviour.

Approve

Confirm service availability, radio and encryption status, export classification and end use.

Commission

Configure, label, test, document and support the kit as a repeatable deployment.

Coverage, service priority, permitted use and equipment availability vary by network, location, hardware and regulation. Controlled encryption, radio equipment and specially designed military configurations may require additional authorisation. Final availability is confirmed per project.

PLAN A DEPLOYABLE NETWORK

Tell us who must connect and under what conditions

Share the destination, users, mobility, applications, expected data demand, available power and resilience objective. We will define an appropriate technical and compliance route.

Service availability, performance and permitted use depend on location, network capacity, local regulation, selected equipment and service plan. Specifications and commercial terms are confirmed individually.
