Field engineer deploying a portable satellite terminal and telemetry gateway beyond cellular coverage
MOBILE SATELLITE & IoT

Connectivity for people and assets beyond cellular coverage

TS2 Space brings together portable broadband, resilient satellite voice and data, tracking and low-power IoT for field teams, vehicles, infrastructure and remote equipment.

CHOOSE THE RIGHT LINK

Broadband, assured communications or a few critical bytes

A video call, a safety message and a daily sensor reading need very different networks. We select the service around the application, power budget, terminal size, mobility, coverage and consequences of losing contact.

TECHNOLOGY OPTIONS

Different networks for different data

Portable LEO Broadband

High-capacity connectivity for cloud access, video, large files and temporary offices where a clear view of the sky and suitable service authorisation are available.

BGAN & L-band Data

Compact, established satellite data for field operations that value broad coverage, portable equipment and dependable access over consumer-grade speed.

Iridium Certus

Voice and data across a range of terminal classes, from compact telemetry and portable systems to higher-capacity land-mobile and operational links.

Satellite Voice & PTT

Handheld voice, messaging and push-to-talk options for distributed teams, safety communications and coordination outside terrestrial coverage.

Satellite IoT & Tracking

Low-power position, status and sensor messages for assets, containers, environmental monitoring, utilities and equipment in remote locations.

Cellular-Satellite Hybrid

Devices and gateways that prefer LTE/5G when available and use satellite when terrestrial coverage disappears, optimising cost and continuity.

SATELLITE IoT

Small messages with operational value

Remote monitoring does not always need broadband. A compact satellite IoT terminal can report location, alarms, pressure, level, temperature, runtime or other essential values from places where cellular service cannot be relied upon.

  • Asset location and geofencing
  • Utility and environmental telemetry
  • Pipeline, tank and equipment status
  • SCADA alarm forwarding
  • Cold-chain and logistics monitoring
  • Two-way command and acknowledgement where supported

RAPID DEPLOYMENT

A field kit that is ready before it is needed

TS2 Space can help assemble portable communications kits around the intended users and applications—not just a terminal. Power, Wi-Fi, routing, weather protection, transport cases, spares and simple operating procedures all affect deployment speed.

For continuity and emergency use, we can define test routines and a primary/backup path so equipment is not discovered to be incomplete during an incident.

DELIVERY MODEL

From message requirement to managed deployment

Define

Users, assets, locations, message size, applications, power and mobility.

Select

Network, terminal, antenna, service profile and cellular fallback where appropriate.

Integrate

Device configuration, routing, APIs, dashboards, alerts and field packaging.

Operate

Activation, testing, airtime management, troubleshooting and fleet expansion.

Coverage, performance, device functions, emergency-service access and permitted use vary by network, location, terminal, local regulation and service plan. Satellite service should be assessed as part of an appropriate operational and safety plan. Final specifications and commercial terms are confirmed individually.

Plan mobile satellite or IoT connectivity

Tell us who or what must stay connected, where it operates, what data is needed and how the equipment will be powered. We will recommend the appropriate network and terminal class.

Service availability, performance and permitted use depend on location, network capacity, local regulation, selected equipment and service plan. Specifications and commercial terms are confirmed individually.
